By the end of the lesson, students will understand the role of an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Specialist, how UAS technology is used in the Commercial Space & Aerospace industry, and explore some of the skills and tasks involved in this career. They will also engage in a hands-on activity to simulate basic drone operation and develop teamwork skills.

Through hands-on drone design and mission challenges, students practice in-demand skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, systems thinking, and testing and improving designs—skills that prepare them for future opportunities in the rapidly growing UAS and technology-driven workforce.
